Waimarino Tough Kid® for 2023

The sun was out and the mud plentiful for the Waimarino Tough Kid®, held at the Raetihi Showgrounds on Friday, 31 March. The event saw 345 tamariki from eight schools take part, supported by teachers and whanau. A huge well done to everyone who participated, and congratulations to our host school, Ohakune Primary, who took away the ‘Toughest School’ trophy.

Sport Whanganui would like to thank all who were involved for contributing to a successful event, including the Raetihi Showgrounds, Waimarino Pony Club, Alan Proud, the Raetihi Volunteer Fire Brigade and Ngā Tai o te Awa.
