A new Twilight Golf League for secondary school teams is up and running in Whanganui, thanks to a partnership between local clubs, Golf NZ and Sport Whanganui.
New manu competition makes a splash
Young manu-poppers got to show off their style in an inter-school competition in Whanganui. About 50 students attended the first-ever Whanganui Secondary Schools’ Manu & Bomb Comp, created to get rangatahi in the water. The competition on Wednesday, March 5, at the Whanganui Girls’ College outdoor pool was managed through Sport Whanganui and the Ngā Tai O Te Awa Trust.

Women Who Lead with Charlotte Dickensen
This month on the couch, Whanganui born Charlotte Dickenson kept the audience well entertained with her journey so far, sharing her time spent internationally as a cricket coach, through to her many years working at a school for children who had been excluded from mainstream school.
