DiscShop.co.nz are proud to present The inaugural Whanganui WONDER, the last event in the MTDG Hitting the Links Series.
Situated in the stunning Bason Gardens – 15 minutes drive from central Whanganui.

Once a year, we will get the opportunity to extend the WONDERful little 9 hole disc golf course into an epic 18 hole tournament course.  If you have ever been to Bason Gardens you would have WONDERed why we didn’t use more of the WONDERland hidden behind those gates.

WONDER no more.. Our lower North Island Disc Shop crew are combining their course design and event running experience, to bring you a WONDERful 18 hole course, for a few days only.

Saturday – Unlimited Practice rounds

Sunday – 2 x 18 hole PDGA sanctioned rounds of disc golf.

Lunch Sunday thanks to Pukeko’s Nest cafe.

Divisional and spot prizes

Unlimited $3 coffees / hot chockies from the nearby Pukeko’s Nest cafe for the weekend (Exact $$TBC)

We will have two 18 hole layouts in action, maximising smiles for all levels of disc golfer.

Divisions are as follows (subject to change)
MA1 | FA1 | MA40 | MA2 – Advanced Layout (Red)
FA40 | FA2 | FA3 | MA3 | J18 – Intermediate Layout (Blue)

Saturday – Course Open for practise 12pm – dark – $10 all day for non event players

Tuesday 5.00pm – Arrive home and get ready to do it all again at the Woodhill ONE DAYER the following weekend… (oh that’s us, not you)
