Position will require attendance at the club one or two weekend days a month, approximately 16 days a year. And attendance at the monthly committee meetings.

Badminton Whanganui Community Lead

Badminton Whanganui are looking for a self-motivated flexible person with a positive attitude to take on the role of Community Lead.

This is renewable yearly contract position, pays $30,000 p.a., averaging 20 hours weekly, commencing 1 January 2026.

The role requires organisational and administrative skills enabling the managing of events, running school programmes and developing opportunities within a multi-cultural community.

 This will include active on-court participation mainly working with children and teenagers.

Racquet sport experience would be helpful, but not essential.
