Wanganui Water Ski Club

The Wanganui Water Ski Club (WWSC) is situated at Lake Wiritoa on Kaitoke Rd, five minutes south of Wanganui town. The water ski club has been part of the community for over 68 years, having been established by some passionate and dedicated water ski enthusiasts in 1955.

The club is committed to our chosen sport of three-event water skiing including slalom, trick and jump, with a proud history of New Zealand representatives at Oceania and World level, USA Collegiate skiers, and NZ age group champions.

The club is here to teach beginners, hone the holiday skier and advance the most ambitious! WWSC has a place for everyone, whether that be officiating, competing, volunteering, on the committee, or simply getting out there on the water to have fun.
